Graphic Designer vs Client

I got sent this a few times yesterday and some of you will definitely have already seen it, but it's so painfully true and funny that I just had to post it. Enjoy...

  1. EXCELLENT! I hadn't seen it - sounds like most of my old translation clients - "Oh , you're English, do you think you could translate this 15,000 word file on water treatment in Bolivia for my sister tomorrow please, won't take you long..."

  5. Awesome, and spot on.

I did think that the message was mildly hampered in its bid to question undervalued graphic designers/commercial artists by its delivery via a service that advertises "if you can type, you can make a movie". By the same principle, if you can use WordArt, you can make a logo, brochure etc.

That niggle aside, all too familiar and well written.
